Jazzi Cooper, head of product at RippleX, announced that the software release is expected next week, though the features will remain dormant until gaining consensus from the network's decentralized validator pool. To activate, each amendment must secure 80% support from trusted validators for two consecutive weeks. This upgrade follows the recent implementation of fixCleanup3_2_0, which established version 3.2.0 as the current baseline for network compatibility.
The core of the proposal centers on Confidential Multi-Purpose Tokens (MPT), which leverage zero-knowledge proofs to hide balances and transfer amounts from public view. This feature is designed to satisfy institutional mandates for commercial confidentiality while maintaining auditability for regulators. Complementing this are Batch transactions and Permission Delegation, which allow for atomic delivery-versus-payment and the separation of operational signing authority from core issuance keys.
