American Bitcoin Corp. Reports Record Production Despite Market Headwinds

American Bitcoin Corp. navigated a volatile second quarter by leaning into infrastructure growth, reaching a record-breaking 932 Bitcoin mined between April and June. The company successfully expanded its strategic reserve to over 8,000 units, signaling a push to solidify its position as a primary domestic mining powerhouse.

CEO Mike Ho emphasized that the company operates as an industrial business rather than a passive holding firm. By focusing on scaled infrastructure, American Bitcoin managed to grow its holdings by 14% quarter-over-quarter, even as the broader market faced pricing pressure. This accumulation strategy resulted in an 11% increase in Satoshis per share, a metric the company uses to track value delivered to shareholders despite the 12% decline in Bitcoin market prices during the same period.

Financial performance reflected these operational gains, with mining revenue rising to $67 million from $62.1 million in the first quarter. Efficiency remains a central pillar of the firm’s strategy, evidenced by the full energization of over 11,000 next-generation miners at the Drumheller site. While energy costs at specific locations pushed the cost to mine to approximately $36,500 per Bitcoin, the company maintained gross margins near 50%. As the firm looks toward future cycles, management maintains that scaling its internal mining capacity remains the most effective path to generating durable shareholder value.
