DISA Uranium Launches to Overhaul U.S. Nuclear Fuel Supply

The company’s strategy hinges on its proprietary high-pressure slurry ablation technology, known as HPSA. By deploying this system, DISA Uranium aims to concentrate uranium-bearing material directly at mine sites, significantly reducing the volume of waste that requires transportation and milling. Preliminary tests at the Tony M mine suggest the process can isolate nearly 88% of uranium while shrinking feedstock mass to roughly 22% of its original size. This efficiency is intended to underpin the construction of the first new U.S. uranium processing facility in over forty years.

Beyond its technological approach, the company is positioning itself as a primary solution for the environmental legacy of thousands of abandoned uranium sites across the U.S. The acquisition of IsoEnergy’s Utah assets—including the Tony M, Daneros, and Rim mines—provides the firm with a scalable resource base to complement its remediation operations. Backed by investors such as BHP Ventures, Halliburton Labs, and Tembo Capital, the startup expects to reach an implied pro forma equity value of approximately US$505 million upon the closing of the transaction this August.
