Speakeasy Dispensary Opens New Medical Cannabis Outpost in Stanford

Residents of Lincoln County gain a new medical cannabis resource this week as Speakeasy Dispensary prepares to open its latest Kentucky location. Situated at 993 US-27, the facility aims to reduce travel times for local patients while providing professional guidance on the state’s evolving medical cannabis program.

The Stanford location officially opens its doors on Thursday, August 6, at 11 AM. Inside, patients will find a curated selection of products, including flower, vapes, and concentrates, alongside staff trained to assist with product education and personalized care. For Gold Leaf Management CEO Casey Flippo, the expansion is driven by the necessity of localized healthcare, ensuring patients across the Commonwealth can access medicine without enduring long-distance commutes.

To further assist the community, the dispensary is hosting a patient drive on Saturday, August 8, from 11 AM to 6 PM. In collaboration with the Kentucky Cannabis Industry Association, the event allows new and returning patients to secure or renew their medical certifications on-site. The streamlined process includes evaluations and application assistance for a $25 service fee, plus the standard state application cost. Following the grand opening, the Stanford store will maintain regular operating hours from 11 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Saturday.
