Investors Face August Deadline in Futu Holdings Securities Lawsuit

Investors who purchased Futu Holdings Limited securities between May 24, 2023, and May 27, 2026, face an August 25 deadline to apply as lead plaintiff in a pending class action lawsuit. The litigation alleges the company misled shareholders regarding its regulatory compliance and operational standing in mainland China.

Investors Face August Deadline in Futu Holdings Securities Lawsuit

The lawsuit filed against the NASDAQ-listed firm claims that Futu Holdings operated securities, public fund sales, and futures businesses in mainland China without securing the necessary licenses or approvals from the China Securities Regulatory Commission. According to the complaint, these omissions rendered the company's financial results overstated and its public representations regarding business prospects materially misleading. When the regulatory issues surfaced, shareholders reportedly suffered significant financial losses.

Those who held shares during the specified class period may be eligible for compensation through a contingency fee arrangement, meaning no out-of-pocket costs are required to participate. Rosen Law Firm, which is representing the class, notes that while a lawsuit has been initiated, no class has yet been certified. Investors retain the right to select their own counsel, remain an absent class member, or move the court to serve as a lead plaintiff by the August 25 cutoff. Prospective participants can access filing information through the firm's website or by contacting Phillip Kim at 866-767-3653.
