Globant Launches Glob.AI to Shift Tech Services Toward Result-Based Pricing

Moving away from traditional hourly billing, Globant has introduced Glob.AI, a platform that allows enterprises to deploy AI-driven service units. The model replaces seat-based costs with output-linked pricing, leveraging autonomous agent teams supervised by human experts to handle complex software development and industry-specific workflows.

The platform centers on AI Pods, which function as specialized units combining parallel agents with human oversight to ensure deterministic results. By charging strictly for validated outputs or consumption, Globant aims to eliminate the inefficiencies of token waste and manual supervision that often plague standard AI implementations. CEO Martín Migoya stated that the model is designed to provide the speed of artificial intelligence without sacrificing the security and rigor required by large-scale enterprise environments.

Early adopters, including FIFA, LALIGA, and YPF, have reported significant productivity gains, with some organizations cutting project timelines by more than 80 percent. The system integrates with major cloud and software providers such as AWS, OpenAI, and SAP, while enforcing strict data governance that prevents client information from training external models. By moving tech delivery from fixed-term projects to a continuous, self-service model, Globant intends to bypass months of procurement cycles, allowing companies to initiate software builds instantly through the platform's portal.
