Keys Inc. Launches AI-Driven Marketplace to Streamline Locksmith Supply

Tucson-based Keys Inc. is rolling out a nationwide distribution network designed to bridge the gap between automotive locksmiths and key suppliers. By leveraging artificial intelligence to match specific vehicle requirements with local inventory, the platform aims to eliminate the industry's reliance on fragmented, manual procurement processes.

The new infrastructure, integrated directly into the Keys.App ecosystem, allows professionals to identify the precise key or fob needed for a vehicle by inputting make, model, and technical specifications. Once the correct hardware is identified, the system scans participating distributors to compare pricing, availability, and proximity. This shift moves beyond traditional catalog browsing, enabling locksmiths to secure parts via shipping or immediate local pickup.

Founder and CEO Loay Jamal Alyousfi noted that the platform intends to function as a collaborative layer rather than a competing warehouse. By connecting existing distributors directly to active demand, the company hopes to shorten the time between a service call and job completion. The system is designed to provide real-time intelligence, helping technicians weigh the trade-offs between a cheaper part shipped from across the country and a slightly higher-priced item available at a nearby supplier.
