Viveros brings over two decades of experience in corporate finance and operations to the role. His transition follows a long-standing relationship with the organization, including a six-year tenure on the board of directors from 2017 to 2023. Board Chair William G. Guillermo Viveros Named CEO of Gardner Health Services
After serving as interim leader and chief financial officer, Guillermo Viveros has been appointed president and CEO of Gardner Health Services. He takes the helm of the $100 million organization, which provides primary and behavioral health care to more than 47,000 patients across Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.

Before transitioning to community health, Viveros held senior executive positions at several major technology firms, including Freshworks, Infoblox, TiVo, and an 11-year stint at Juniper Networks. He holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a mechanical engineering degree from California Polytechnic State University. Viveros now leads a health system with a 59-year history, originally founded to serve farm and cannery workers in the Alviso and Gardner neighborhoods of San Jose.
