Duke Rupert Appointed President of AHN Beaver and Sewickley Hospitals

Rupert returns to the AHN fold following a tenure as chief operating officer at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center. His history with the network is extensive, spanning two decades and including leadership roles at AHN Allegheny General, Forbes, and West Penn hospitals. In his new capacity, he will manage clinical performance and strategic growth across the entire former Heritage Valley footprint, including affiliated outpatient clinics.

AHN also bolstered its regional leadership team by appointing Keith Lorenz as chief operating officer and Joshua Miller as chief financial officer. Lorenz joins from UPMC Passavant, while Miller transitions from his previous role as director of finance at AHN Grove City Hospital. These appointments coincide with a planned transition period during which Mitry will remain in an advisory capacity to ensure continuity. Mark Sevco, President of AHN, noted that the new team is tasked with embedding the network's Living Health model into the western region’s facilities.
