John B. Gibson Jr. Joins ManpowerGroup Board

ManpowerGroup Chair and CEO Jonas Prising cited Gibson’s operational expertise and his track record of navigating organizational change as key drivers for the board appointment. Prising noted that Gibson’s strategic perspective will assist the company as it continues to evolve its business and refine its transformation strategy.

Gibson has led Paychex as its chief executive since October 2022, overseeing the company’s integration of HR, payroll, and benefits technology. His tenure includes the significant 2025 acquisition of Paycor, which expanded the firm’s reach across the human capital management sector. His career trajectory spans over a decade at Paychex, including roles as President and Chief Operating Officer, alongside previous leadership positions at Convergys and Ameritech. Beyond his corporate duties, Gibson serves on the New York Fed’s Second District Advisory Council and holds credentials from Indiana University, Northwestern’s Kellogg School, and INSEAD.
