Under the new arrangement, Grvt will hold and manage USDY on its own balance sheet, channeling the generated income into the base rate offered by its Earn platform. This structure allows the exchange to aggregate returns from multiple sources, including existing trading revenue and Aave lending, into a single user balance. At the current annual percentage yield of roughly 3.5%, a fully deployed $100 million position could generate approximately $3.5 million in annualized gross yield.

Grvt to Build $100 Million Position in Ondo Finance’s USDY
CeDeFi trading platform Grvt is partnering with Ondo Finance to allocate up to $100 million into the latter’s yield-bearing USDY token over the next year. The move aims to integrate tokenized U.S. Treasury returns directly into the Grvt Earn product, simplifying yield access for users by removing the need for manual asset management.

Grvt CEO Hong Yea stated that the initiative is designed to allow customers to keep capital productive without navigating the complexities of financial plumbing. The allocation represents roughly 4.6% of USDY’s current $2.14 billion in assets under management. This partnership follows Grvt’s $19 million Series A funding round in September 2025, which bolstered the development of its zero-knowledge-powered hybrid exchange. As tokenized real-world assets continue to grow, Grvt’s integration reflects a broader shift toward embedding institutional-grade yield products directly into onchain trading ecosystems.
