Boyd Group Services reported a 30% surge in quarterly revenue, crossing the $1 billion threshold for the first time. The Winnipeg-based collision repair operator attributed the record performance to rapid synergy realization from the Joe Hudson’s acquisition and the ongoing success of its internal Project 360 efficiency initiatives.
Operational gains were bolstered by $15 million in incremental cost savings achieved during the quarter. While net earnings decreased to $1.3 million from $5.4 million—a result of higher depreciation and finance costs linked to recent expansion—adjusted net earnings rose by 46.7% to $22.4 million.
