On August 22, 2026, the Orland Grasslands will host the Stash & Dash: Sunset Sesh, an evening combining fitness with cannabis culture. Participants can choose between a 7.10 km run, a 2.5-mile walk, or a 5-mile bike ride, followed by a communal celebration at The Stash Room in Orland Hills.

The event, a partnership between Stash Dispensaries and the run club Runners High Chicago, aims to merge active lifestyles with social connection. Following the outdoor activities, the evening transitions to The Stash Room for recovery stations, live music from local DJs, and brand activations. Organizers intend to challenge lingering stereotypes regarding cannabis consumers and physical fitness.

Stash Dispensaries CEO Matthew Longo stated that the initiative is designed to create experiences beyond traditional retail, fostering an inclusive environment for community members. Founded in 2022 by Anakaren Ramirez and Carlos Ramos, Runners High Chicago has gained recognition for its efforts to normalize cannabis use within wellness circles. The event runs from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with entry to cannabis-related activities restricted to those 21 and older holding valid identification.
