Citius Oncology Reports Rising Institutional Demand for LYMPHIR

Citius Oncology is gaining commercial traction as institutional adoption of its lymphoma treatment, LYMPHIR, accelerates. The company reported that 44 medical centers have now prescribed the drug, with vial orders jumping 31% sequentially in the third fiscal quarter of 2026, signaling a shift toward wider market penetration.

Citius Oncology Reports Rising Institutional Demand for LYMPHIR

For the three months ending June 30, 2026, the company recorded $1.5 million in revenue, contributing to a $7.1 million total for the first nine months of the fiscal year. This growth is underpinned by an 80% increase in new ordering institutions compared to the previous quarter. Chairman and CEO Leonard Mazur noted that July set a record for monthly demand, with 383 vials ordered, providing what he described as a positive trajectory for the remainder of the year.

To support this momentum, the company expanded its commercial footprint in August, bringing its medical affairs and sales force to 29 professionals. This team is tasked with securing formulary inclusion at 100 priority institutions by the end of 2026. Financial reports show a net loss of $8.9 million for the quarter, largely driven by investments in commercial infrastructure and administrative costs. Despite the losses, the company maintains a cash position of $16.6 million, bolstered by recent warrant exercises and a senior secured term loan facility. Beyond current sales, Citius is advancing two Phase 1 studies to explore the potential of LYMPHIR in combination therapies, aiming to expand its clinical utility beyond cutaneous T-cell lymphoma.
