Florida Inventor Patents Tether Device to End Lost Remote Frustration

“I thought there should be a way to secure a television remote control to prevent it from getting lost,” said a Daytona Beach inventor, who has developed a new accessory dubbed the DON’T LOSE YOUR CURLY Q to keep track of household electronics.

The device addresses the perennial frustration of searching for misplaced remotes by tethering them to a fixed location. By ensuring the controller remains within reach, the inventor aims to eliminate the daily inconvenience of scouring couch cushions and living room furniture. The design emphasizes simplicity, catering to busy households that require a straightforward, low-maintenance solution for organizing media peripherals.

InventHelp is currently representing the product, which was submitted through the company's Tallahassee office. The firm is actively seeking licensing agreements or outright sales to manufacturers and marketers interested in bringing the accessory to the consumer market. Interested parties can reach the company’s Pittsburgh headquarters at 412-288-1300, referencing department 25-TLS-1413 for further specifications.
