BODYBAR Pilates Expands Long Island Footprint with Hauppauge Studio

A former pharmacist and entrepreneur is bringing a new athletic-focused fitness concept to Suffolk County this September. Mady Pisano, owner of the upcoming 3,200-square-foot BODYBAR Pilates in Hauppauge, aims to blend high-intensity reformer training with a community-centric approach, marking the brand’s second expansion on Long Island.

Located at 381C Nesconset Hwy, the new studio is scheduled to open its doors on September 8. The facility will feature 14 reformers, a dedicated room for private training, and a retail boutique. In the weeks leading up to the launch, the team is hosting community events, including mat classes at The Stone Goat Restaurant & Brewery and introductory sessions at Country Pointe Woods, to familiarize locals with the brand’s performance-based methodology.

Pisano, who also operates RelyRx Pharmacy, views the studio as a personal mission to foster wellness after discovering the brand through its founders, Matt and Kamille McCollum. Her expansion plans extend beyond this initial site; she has already signed a two-unit development agreement with intentions to open a second location in Southern Long Island by 2027 and eventually scale to four additional studios. The Hauppauge opening is part of a broader national push for the franchise, which currently operates 89 locations with 30 more expected to launch by the end of the year. Early members can secure a 15% discount on lifetime memberships ahead of the grand opening.
