Parcel shipping consultancy LJM has entered a strategic partnership with private investment firm Clearview Capital to fuel the next stage of its corporate expansion. The capital injection allows LJM to accelerate development of its Parcel Intelligence Platform and scale its Executive Shipping Advisory services. As parcel delivery costs evolve into a primary logistical hurdle—with 90% of shippers identifying cost reduction as a core operational challenge—the firm intends to provide more robust, data-driven negotiation strategies. Founder and CEO Ken Wood emphasized that the partnership provides the necessary resources to navigate the increasing complexity of carrier pricing, such as frequent rate fluctuations and accessorial charges implemented by industry leaders like UPS and FedEx.

Clearview Capital, which manages a portfolio of over 150 transactions, cited LJM’s track record of generating tangible savings as the primary driver for the investment. Since its inception, LJM has processed over 5.5 billion parcels for more than 1,500 clients. By integrating proprietary technology with carrier-side expertise, the firm plans to maintain its high-touch advisory standards while expanding its reach in an increasingly unpredictable market.
