Goldfish Swim School Marks Fourth Year on Inc. 5000

For the fourth consecutive year, Goldfish Swim School Franchising has secured a spot on the Inc. 5000, an annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. The recognition follows a period of sustained expansion for the Michigan-based brand, which now operates over 200 locations across North America.

Founded in 2006 by Chris and Jenny McCuiston, the Troy-based company has scaled its footprint significantly, with an additional 150 schools currently in development. The brand serves children aged 4 months to 12 years using its proprietary Science of SwimPlay curriculum. This growth trajectory, which includes a revenue increase tenfold since 2013, highlights the rising demand for specialized water safety instruction.

"This recognition is a reflection of the incredible franchise owners and teams across the country who show up every day to teach children how to be safe and confident in the water," said CEO Chris McCuiston. The Inc. 5000 methodology ranks private companies based on percentage revenue growth over a three-year period, requiring a minimum 2025 revenue of $2 million. Beyond the Inc. ranking, Goldfish has maintained a consistent presence in industry lists, including the Entrepreneur Franchise 500 and Franchise Times’ Fast & Serious rankings.
