Vertical Data has appointed Chris Downs as interim chief financial officer, tasking the former CNS Pharmaceuticals executive with steering the AI infrastructure firm through a transition from the OTCQB Venture Market to a national securities exchange. The appointment, effective August 17, shifts former CFO Christopher Creatura to chief credit officer.
Beyond his public company background, Downs previously navigated financial restructuring at InfuSystem Holdings and managed significant M&A advisory work during his time as an investment banker at Citigroup and other firms. His arrival coincides with a departmental realignment, as Creatura takes the helm of credit and underwriting for the company’s GPUfinancing.com platform.
