The ceremony, which traditionally functions as an invitation-only gathering for hospitality leaders and media, will be held at ZZ's Club in New York City. The private members' venue, established by Major Food Group's Jeff Zalaznick alongside alumni Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi, serves as the backdrop for the reveal of this year's culinary class. Actor and comedian Joel McHale will emcee the evening, joined by Food & Wine Editor in Chief Hunter Lewis.

Food & Wine Opens Prestigious Chef Awards to the Public for First Time
For the first time in its 38-year history, the Food & Wine Best New Chefs awards ceremony is stepping out from behind closed doors. Starting today, a strictly limited number of tickets are available to the public for the September 15 event, offering rare access to one of the industry's most exclusive nights.

Attendees will gain entry to the awards presentation and a series of tastings featuring signature dishes from past winners, including Kwame Onwuachi, Rick Bayless, and Eunji Lee. Tickets are priced at $395 and are being sold exclusively through Resy on a first-come, first-served basis. With only 50 public spots available, the move marks a significant shift in how the publication engages with its audience, inviting diners to witness the emergence of new culinary talent before they achieve wider national acclaim.
