DomoAI Updates Omni Reference for Consistent Character Animation

Creators struggling with visual inconsistency in AI-generated animation now have a new toolkit. Singapore-based DomoAI has launched Seedance 2.5 and MiniMax H3, integrated into its Omni Reference system to allow for persistent character appearance and rhythm-synced performance across extended storytelling projects and music videos.

DomoAI Updates Omni Reference for Consistent Character Animation

Seedance 2.5 addresses the common issue of character drift, where facial features, clothing, or proportions fluctuate between shots. By allowing users to upload up to 30 images, 10 video clips, and 10 audio files alongside specific frame markers, the software enforces visual continuity across multiple scenes. Japanese creator JPN GIRL demonstrated this workflow by producing an 80-second short film, proving that AI-generated projects can move beyond isolated clips into cohesive narratives.

For music-focused projects, MiniMax H3 shifts the focus to timing and rhythm. Users can pair a song with up to nine image references and six supplementary media files to dictate character movement and performance intensity. The model generates clips between four and 15 seconds in resolutions up to 2K, which creators can then stitch together to match specific song structures like verses and choruses. Both updates are currently live on the platform, with trial access available for new users.
