Colt DCS Elevates Quy Nguyen to Chief Executive Officer
After serving as acting head since April, Quy Nguyen has been formally appointed Chief Executive Officer of Colt Data Centre Services. The board’s decision follows a search to succeed Niclas Sanfridsson, tasking Nguyen with steering the company through a period of rapid expansion in European and Asian digital infrastructure markets.

The appointment comes as the company manages nearly 800MW of capacity under development. With the surge in cloud adoption and AI-driven workloads, Nguyen’s mandate is to scale the global platform while maintaining the company’s commitment to its sustainability targets. Chairman Tim Cohen noted that Nguyen’s familiarity with the company’s internal culture and his track record in execution were decisive factors in the selection process. Nguyen stated that his immediate focus remains on operational excellence and long-term value creation for stakeholders as the industry demands more resilient, high-capacity infrastructure.
