Nexus IT Enters Texas Market with Acquisition of Loyal IT
After fielding interest from more than 700 potential buyers, Austin-based Loyal IT has chosen to join forces with Salt Lake City’s Nexus IT. The deal marks the 12th acquisition for Nexus as it pushes toward its goal of establishing a top-tier national platform for regulated industries like healthcare and finance.
Nexus IT CEO Earl Foote emphasized that the cultural alignment between the two firms was a primary driver for the deal. For Loyal IT, the transition offers the backing of a larger entity supported by a $60 million growth facility from Metropolitan Partners Group. Marco Leal, who led Loyal IT for twenty years, noted that the decision came down to finding a partner that matched their commitment to proactive risk mitigation in an increasingly complex digital landscape.
