Ripple Prime Secures $275 Million for U.S. Brokerage Expansion

Ripple Prime has raised $275 million through a private offering of senior unsecured notes to institutional investors, signaling a push to scale its U.S. operations. The capital injection will bolster the firm’s prime brokerage, multi-asset clearing, and financing services as it deepens its integration into traditional financial infrastructure.

Ripple Prime Secures $275 Million for U.S. Brokerage Expansion

The latest debt placement follows a series of aggressive moves by Ripple to establish a foothold in institutional finance. This capital sits alongside a $200 million credit facility secured from Neuberger Berman earlier this year, bringing the brokerage’s total fresh financing to $475 million since May. Ripple Prime President Noel Kimmel noted that the funding reflects investor confidence in the convergence of traditional and digital asset financial services.

Ripple inherited the brokerage unit through its $1.25 billion acquisition of Hidden Road, a deal finalized in October 2025. Before the integration, Hidden Road managed roughly $3 trillion in annual clearing volume for over 300 institutional clients, including hedge funds and proprietary trading firms. Since the acquisition, Ripple has begun tethering its proprietary technology to the brokerage, enabling the use of its RLUSD stablecoin as collateral. The firm is also exploring the migration of specific post-trade activities onto the XRP Ledger to streamline operations.
