In Reedsburg, BJ Ganem runs Sierra Delta, an organization pairing veterans with support dogs. Meanwhile, Robert Cradle of Odenton operates the Rob’s Barbershop Community Foundation to provide grooming to the underserved, and Brian Schwartz of Wayne manages I Want to Mow Your Lawn, Inc., a network of 1,800 volunteers providing yard care for the elderly and veterans.

Five Bearded Philanthropists Vie for $20,000 Charity Prize
Wahl is pitting five men against each other in the fifth annual Benevolent Beards Contest, a competition that rewards altruism rather than just grooming standards. The public now holds the power to decide which finalist receives a $5,000 personal prize and a $20,000 donation for their chosen nonprofit organization.
Voting remains open until September 18, 2026. Beyond the cash awards, the winner earns a visit from the Wahl Mobile Barbershop to host a charity event offering free trims to the public.
