Champion Ranch Expands Wildlife Conservation Outreach

In the rolling landscape of Rochelle, Texas, Champion Ranch is scaling its philanthropic footprint through its Heart of a Champion initiative. The program directs financial support toward a network of advocacy groups, aiming to bridge the gap between private land stewardship and large-scale wildlife management projects.

Champion Ranch Expands Wildlife Conservation Outreach

The effort formalizes a long-standing internal philosophy that healthy ecosystems require active, science-based intervention. By aligning with organizations like Buckmasters, the Dallas Safari Club Foundation, and Safari Club International Foundation, the ranch seeks to influence outcomes in habitat protection and hunting education that reach far beyond its own fences.

Additional beneficiaries include the International Order of T. Roosevelt and The Origins Foundation, both of which focus on defending the rights of sportsmen and promoting the ecological benefits of regulated hunting. For founder Joel Swan, the decision to invest in these external groups is a direct extension of the ranch’s operational values. He maintains that land managed with intent creates a sustainable legacy, one that necessitates supporting those who advocate for wildlife and habitat preservation on a national scale. As the ranch continues to host guests for sporting and luxury experiences, it remains open to further partnerships that prioritize conservation and community impact.
