While CryptoSlam data shows a sharp rise in dollar volume, the underlying activity remains concentrated. Excluding the Pandora transaction, the rest of the market generated approximately $40.28 million, suggesting that organic demand across the ecosystem did not experience a proportional spike. Transaction counts grew by only 7.5% to 962,992, resulting in an average transaction value of $99, up from $39 in the previous period.
Ethereum remains the dominant blockchain, capturing $70.81 million in sales—roughly 74% of the global total. However, Pandora alone contributed $55.21 million to that sum, representing about 78% of the network's volume. This reliance on a single asset highlights the volatility of current NFT metrics, especially as Pandora utilizes the ERC-404 model, which blends fungible token liquidity with non-fungible asset structures. Because these hybrid assets function differently than traditional artwork or profile pictures, their inclusion in standard volume rankings can skew interpretations of market health.
