Binance Expands TradFi Perpetual Portfolio With Five New Listings

Binance Futures launched five USDT-margined perpetual contracts on August 25, offering traders up to 20x leverage on U.S.-listed equities and semiconductor-focused ETFs. The move expands synthetic exposure to assets like Trump Media and Moderna, though the derivatives grant no actual ownership or voting rights in the underlying companies.

The new listings include contracts for Trump Media & Technology Group (DJTUSDT) and Moderna (MRNAUSDT), alongside three exchange-traded funds: GraniteShares 2x Long SK Hynix Daily (SKUUUSDT), its inverse counterpart (SKDDUSDT), and the Roundhill T-REX 2X Long DRAM Daily Target ETF (RAMUSDT). These instruments operate continuously, decoupling trading from the standard operating hours of the Nasdaq and Cboe BZX exchanges where the underlying assets reside.

While the 20x leverage provides significant profit potential, it introduces substantial risk due to compounding effects and volatility inherent in daily leveraged funds. Because these perpetuals track assets that reset daily, price divergence is likely when traditional markets are closed. Binance noted that funding settlements occur every eight hours, with an initial funding-rate cap set at 2%. Traders should be aware that these derivatives function as synthetic instruments managed via the exchange's Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) entities, Nest Exchange Limited and Nest Clearing and Custody Limited. Access remains subject to regional regulatory restrictions, and the contracts do not represent direct holdings in the referenced securities.
