Global Experts Converge in Seoul to Tackle Aging and Movement Disorders
More than 4,000 specialists will gather in Seoul from October 4–8 for the 2026 International Congress of Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders, focusing on the intersection of biological aging and neurodegeneration to reshape clinical approaches for millions of patients worldwide.

Central to the program is a keynote lecture by Tohru Minamino, who will present research on immuno-gerotherapeutics. His work targets senescent cells—cells that have stopped dividing and contribute to age-related decline—offering a potential shift in how medicine treats neurodegeneration. Beyond the keynote, the event will feature over 60 scientific sessions and the presentation of more than 2,000 novel research abstracts. These late-breaking studies aim to bridge the gap between laboratory breakthroughs and practical, life-altering patient therapies.
