The walk-around tasting invites professionals to explore the versatility of the region through three thematic stations. The program includes a deep dive into Pinot Grigio’s aging potential, an analysis of mountain terroir, and a collaborative pairing series curated by sommelier Chris Struck that reflects the city’s culinary diversity. Beyond the tasting floor, the event features two invitation-only masterclasses led by Wine Folly co-founder Madeline Puckette and Consorzio director Eduard Bernhart. These sessions will examine the aging characteristics of Dolomitic limestone-grown whites and celebrate the legacy of the region's pioneering producers. For Bernhart, the return to New York serves as a strategic reconnection with a critical market, emphasizing the freshness and structural depth that distinguish Alto Adige from other Italian regions. The afternoon event runs from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 22 Vanderbilt, offering a comprehensive look at a region where twenty different grape varieties thrive between Mediterranean valleys and high-altitude slopes.
