Marti Winer Named CEO of Hosts Global as Kurt Paben Moves to Vice Chair

Las Vegas-based destination management firm Hosts Global has tapped Marti Winer to serve as its new chief executive officer, effective September 1, 2026. Winer, who currently manages the company’s western operations, will take over from Kurt Paben, who is transitioning into the role of vice chair ahead of his year-end retirement.

Winer brings over two decades of experience to the leadership post, having navigated high-stakes roles at MGM Resorts International and Wyndham Worldwide. Her background includes overseeing over 2,200 annual events during her tenure as vice president of event productions for MGM. Since joining Hosts in 2025, she has focused on scaling the firm’s reach across its alliance of more than 450 global destinations.

Chairman Frank Andrews credited Winer with a rare blend of operational discipline and strategic creativity. The transition comes at a period of expansion for the company, which specializes in meetings, incentives, and large-scale live events. Paben, who steered the organization through the post-pandemic recovery, will work alongside Winer during the coming months to facilitate a handover. His tenure is noted for solidifying the firm’s global footprint and maintaining a focus on client-centric service in a volatile hospitality market.
