Veeva Systems Revenue Climbs 18% Amid AI Expansion

Veeva Systems reported total revenues of $928 million for the second fiscal quarter of 2027, marking an 18% increase compared to the previous year. The growth, fueled by strong adoption of its cloud-based life sciences solutions, pushed the company to exceed its financial guidance across all primary metrics.

The Pleasonton-based firm saw subscription revenues reach $766.8 million, a 16% rise over the same period last year. Operating income surged to $275 million, representing a 40% year-over-year jump, while net income climbed 37% to $273.4 million. CEO Peter Gassner credited the performance to the integration of artificial intelligence across the company's platform, noting that Vault CRM recorded its strongest quarter to date.

Expansion remains a core focus, with 12 of the world's top 20 biopharmaceutical companies now committed to Vault CRM. The company also reported progress in its AI initiatives, including the development of Veeva Falcon and the acquisition of Copli. Following these results, Veeva has updated its full-year revenue guidance to a range between $3.682 billion and $3.687 billion, signaling confidence in sustained demand for its connected R&D and quality cloud solutions.
