EQT Real Estate Sells 10.5 Million Square Foot Southeast Portfolio
A massive 46-building logistics portfolio spanning the American Southeast has changed hands, as EQT Real Estate offloaded the 10.5 million-square-foot collection to an affiliate of California-based LBA Realty. The deal consolidates high-demand industrial assets across ten key markets, ranging from the Carolinas to Alabama and Florida.

Matthew Brodnik, Global Chief Investment Officer at EQT Real Estate, noted that the firm identified the shift of industry and population toward the Southeast early on. By executing a strategy of hands-on management and aggressive leasing, the team added value to the buildings before finding a buyer. For LBA Realty, the acquisition provides immediate, large-scale entry into one of the most active industrial corridors in the United States. JLL advisors John Huguenard, Trent Agnew, and Will McCormack facilitated the transaction.
