Mubadala Capital Secures Majority Stake in Arrive Logistics

A decade after its founding, Austin-based Arrive Logistics is shifting its ownership structure as Mubadala Capital prepares to acquire a majority equity interest in the freight brokerage. The deal, expected to close in late 2026, marks a pivotal transition for one of North America’s largest independent truckload providers.

The transaction sees current backers ATL Partners and Lead Edge Capital retaining significant stakes, alongside the Arrive management team who are reinvesting in the business. Since 2014, the company has expanded its footprint across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, serving over 5,500 customers with a network of 10,000 core carriers.

CEO Matt Pyatt intends to leverage this new capital to accelerate growth across three specific pillars: talent acquisition, service expansion, and technological innovation. The company plans to double down on its proprietary platform, ARRIVEnow, which automates load management while maintaining the personal communication channels essential to its brokerage model. For Mubadala Capital, the acquisition represents a bet on consistent performance through volatile freight cycles, with the deal expected to finalize in the fourth quarter of 2026 pending customary regulatory approvals.
