The service functions by providing a single counterparty relationship for cross-margining positions across traditional and digital markets. This around-the-clock infrastructure enables institutions to manage collateral and financing terms within a single framework. President Noel Kimmel described the launch as a natural progression for the platform, which has aggressively expanded its suite of clearing and financing tools following the acquisition of Hidden Road in October 2025.

Ripple Prime Enters U.S. Equity Derivatives Market with Delta One
Institutional investors can now trade total return swaps linked to U.S.-listed equities, indexes, and digital assets through Ripple Prime. The newly launched Delta One service allows hedge funds and asset managers to gain market exposure without direct ownership, leveraging a unified, multi-asset brokerage architecture.

Scaling Institutional Infrastructure
Ripple Prime’s expansion into equity derivatives follows a year of significant capital growth and strategic integrations. The firm, which reports clearing over $3 trillion annually for more than 300 institutional clients, recently bolstered its balance sheet with a $275 million private placement of senior unsecured notes. This follows a $200 million debt facility secured in May from Neuberger Specialty Finance. These capital injections support the firm’s broader strategy of bridging decentralized and traditional finance, as seen in earlier integrations with EDX Markets and Hyperliquid. By maintaining over $1 billion in regulatory net capital, the brokerage aims to provide a stable environment for complex derivatives, including the use of its RLUSD stablecoin for settlement and collateral management.
