Freedom Home Care Breaks North Shore Ties With New Huntley Hub

A ceremonial ribbon-cutting in Huntley on August 13 marked the first time Freedom Home Care has ventured beyond its 28-year North Shore stronghold. The expansion into McHenry and Kane counties signals a push to bring the PurposeCare subsidiary’s private-pay model to a wider demographic of suburban families.

The new office, located at 12151 Regency Parkway, serves as an operational base for providing personal home care, outpatient services, and post-surgery support to residents in Huntley, Algonquin, and the surrounding area. Operations Manager Sarah Moore aims to position the facility as a community resource rather than a traditional service provider, focusing on partnerships with local professionals and caregivers.

To facilitate this, the company is launching a series of community-focused events. The program kicks off August 28 with an Aromatherapy and Healthy Aging session, followed by the September debut of Meaningful Mondays, a recurring series designed to foster networking and education for those managing elder care. The opening ceremony drew local stakeholders, including representatives from the Village of Huntley and area chambers of commerce, underscoring the company’s intent to integrate deeply into the regional senior-care infrastructure.
