Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon led the Singapore delegation to Bangkok this July, driving a series of regional agreements aimed at harmonizing commercial law and judicial technology across ASEAN. The meetings focused on establishing unified protocols for cross-border insolvency and the integration of artificial intelligence within local court systems.
Practical cooperation also expanded through the Virtual Training Marketplace, which connects young lawyers with regional attachment opportunities. The portal has successfully facilitated its first placements across 24 participating firms. Meanwhile, the CACJ adopted a formal roadmap to integrate therapeutic justice practices and continued refining the governance framework for judicial AI use.
