Sobi Finalizes Class C Share Issue for Employee Incentive Program

Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB has completed a directed issue of 223,677 class C shares to Svenska Handelsbanken AB. The move secures the company's ability to fulfill obligations under its long-term incentive scheme for permanent staff, following board approval granted earlier this year to manage these specific equity commitments.

Sobi Finalizes Class C Share Issue for Employee Incentive Program

Svenska Handelsbanken AB subscribed to the full allotment of 223,677 shares, generating proceeds of SEK 122,732.80. This transaction follows the resolution passed at Sobi’s Annual General Meeting on May 6, 2026, which authorized the board to issue and subsequently repurchase the shares to facilitate the All Employee Programme.

The company intends to repurchase all newly issued class C shares and convert them into common shares. Once the conversion process concludes, Sobi's treasury holdings will increase from 9,408,278 to 9,631,955 common shares. These assets are earmarked for future delivery to participants within the incentive program, ensuring the company meets its contractual requirements to staff.
