Pye-Barker Expands Pacific Northwest Footprint with Suppression Systems

Founded in 1976, the acquired firm has built a reputation for handling technically demanding projects. Its team manages the design, engineering, and installation of alarm and detection systems, serving industrial and high-end residential clients throughout the region. Zachary Tuck, who owned the firm, noted that the move secures a future for the company’s legacy within a larger national network.

Bart Proctor, CEO of Pye-Barker, cited the specialized hazard expertise of the Washington team as a primary driver for the deal. The integration allows Pye-Barker to deepen its presence in a competitive market while maintaining the existing technical workforce. The firm, which operates over 250 locations nationwide, utilized Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, LLP for legal representation during the transaction.
