Colony Grill Expands Hartford County Footprint to Newington and South Windsor

The Newington site, located at 3260 Berlin Turnpike, will accommodate over 175 guests and feature the chain’s first dedicated private dining room. Designed for team gatherings and milestone events, the space complements a 12-tap bar and outdoor patio. Meanwhile, the South Windsor location at 255 Gateway Blvd will anchor the new Buckland Gateway mixed-use development. With seating for 150, this venue aims to serve the area’s growing mix of residents and office workers.

CEO Paul Coniglio emphasized that the choice of these two towns aligns with the brand's focus on local pride and social connection. Phoebe Sager, principal of Sager Development, noted that the pizza chain serves as an ideal anchor for the Buckland Gateway project, citing the brand's established reputation. Since its 1935 founding in Stamford, Colony Grill has maintained a specific model centered on its signature Hot Oil Bar Pies, a concept it now exports across Connecticut, New York, Virginia, and Florida.
