Erthos to Open Texas Solar Site for Houston Energy & Climate Week
Energy leaders will head to Matagorda County this September for an exclusive look at Erthos’s 52-megawatt Project Bravo. The site visit, scheduled for September 15 during Houston Energy & Climate Week, offers a rare, in-field demonstration of the company’s flat-mount solar technology ahead of its commercial launch.
The installation serves a specific industrial purpose: a 20-year power purchase agreement with Equistar Chemicals, a LyondellBasell company. Once fully operational in November 2026, the facility will supply 124 GWh of annual energy to the adjacent Matagorda polymers complex. Beyond the technical tour, Erthos will participate in the broader Houston Energy & Climate Week programming, including an industry awards dinner and a networking event at Saint Arnold Brewing Company to engage venture capitalists and energy developers.
