Kevin Howard, the company's current Executive Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, will step into the role of interim CFO on the same date. Howard brings over twenty years of experience to the position, having previously managed the financial integration of major acquisitions including Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks. He also held the interim CFO title at the firm back in 2010.

Charter CEO Chris Winfrey credited Fischer for her decade-long tenure and her specific impact since taking the finance helm in 2021. The transition period will see Fischer and Howard working in tandem to maintain stability. Despite the leadership shuffle, the company confirmed that its existing financial outlook and corporate policies remain unchanged.
