Brian Comstock to Succeed Lorie Tekorius as Greenbrier CEO
Lorie Tekorius will retire as CEO and President of The Greenbrier Companies on January 6, 2027, following more than three decades with the railcar manufacturer. The company has tapped Brian Comstock, currently the Executive Vice President and President of The Americas, to step into the top role as part of a long-term succession plan.
Brian Comstock brings over 45 years of industry experience to the role, including nearly 30 years at Greenbrier. As the current head of operations for the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil, he has overseen the company’s commercial and leasing functions. Admiral Thomas B. Fargo, Board Chair, noted that the board conducted a disciplined process to select a successor capable of maintaining the company's strategic trajectory. Comstock is expected to join the Board of Directors upon his appointment, continuing the firm's focus on global freight transportation markets.
