Panera Bread Debuts Fall Menu Featuring Lasagna Soup and PB&J Cookies

As temperatures drop and back-to-school routines take hold, Panera Bread is pivoting its nationwide menu toward autumnal comfort. Beginning September 2, the chain is rolling out a seasonal lineup headlined by a new Three-Cheese Lasagna Soup and the return of several fan-favorite bakery items intended to anchor the cozy season.

The new Three-Cheese Lasagna Soup anchors the menu, blending Italian-style sausage, ribbon pasta, and parmesan in a ricotta-tomato broth. This addition joins a rotation of returning staples, including the Rustic Baked Potato Soup and the Autumn Squash Soup, which features a signature mix of butternut squash, pumpkin, and a hint of curry. To complement the broth-heavy offerings, the chain is pushing its Ciabatta Dippers—specifically designed for dipping into soup—alongside existing warm sandwich options like the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt and the Toasted Italiano.

Scott Uehlein, Vice President of Culinary at Panera Bread, described the menu as a collection of nostalgic and warm flavors crafted for the transition into cooler weather. Beyond savory dishes, the bakery case sees the introduction of a PB&J Cookie, featuring a peanut butter base with a grape jelly center, and Cinnamon Croissant Bites. The company is also bringing back its Chocolate Chip Bagel and the Harvest Medley Salad, which includes arugula, pumpkin seeds, and beet strips. These items are available for purchase across the company’s 2,251 locations via dine-in, delivery, or drive-thru.
