Global Hospitality Rankings: The World's 50 Best Hotels 51-100

Asia leads the regional representation with 20 entries, anchored by Japanese landmarks such as Park Hyatt Tokyo at No. 53, Hotel The Mitsui in Kyoto at No. 79, and Waldorf Astoria Osaka at No. 89. China also saw two additions, with Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen and The Peninsula Shanghai securing spots at No. 90 and No. 99, respectively. In Europe, where 16 properties earned a place, La Réserve Paris leads the group at No. 51. Italy maintains a strong presence with nine hotels, including Il San Pietro di Positano and Forestis Dolomites, while France adds the Ritz Paris and Carlton Cannes to the mix.

North American selections are heavily concentrated in New York, which claims three spots, including The Fifth Avenue Hotel—this year's recipient of the American Express Travel One To Watch Award. Mexico follows with entries like Hotel Esencia and Montage Los Cabos. Further south, Peru’s Palacio Nazarenas and Brazil’s Hotel das Cataratas represent South American hospitality. Oceania contributes two entries, Huka Lodge in New Zealand and The Calile in Brisbane, while Morocco’s La Mamounia stands as the sole African representative on this segment of the list. Faye Huggett, Director of Community for the organization, noted that these properties define modern hospitality standards through the dedication of their staff.
