Klutch Cannabis Expands Ohio Footprint with Grandview Acquisition

The Ohio Division of Cannabis Control has cleared Klutch Cannabis to acquire the former Culture Cannabis dispensary at 1305 Holly Avenue in Grandview. This strategic move secures the company’s second retail footprint in the Columbus market, signaling a broad push to scale its presence across Central Ohio ahead of a September 11 opening.

The Grandview facility sits within reach of downtown Columbus and The Ohio State University, offering a platform for the company to distribute its full portfolio. Customers will find the brand's proprietary lines, including Citizen by Klutch and Habitat by Klutch, alongside exclusive collaborations with Cookies, Josh D, and Kiva Confections. Founder and CEO Adam Thomarios noted that the acquisition integrates the existing Culture team into the company’s retail operations to maintain continuity for local patrons.

Beyond the expansion in Columbus, the company is shifting its focus toward its hometown roots. Plans are underway to relocate the current Tallmadge dispensary to a new flagship storefront in Akron, with further operational details expected in the coming weeks. The Grandview site will operate with extended hours, closing at 10:45 PM on weekends, to accommodate the high traffic expected in the region's rapidly growing cannabis sector.
