The program provides six distinct data feeds covering real gross domestic product, the Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) Price Index, and Real Final Sales to Private Domestic Purchasers. Each metric is delivered in two formats: the current level in billions of 2017 dollars and the quarter-over-quarter annualized percentage change. These feeds are now live on ten networks, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Botanix, Linea, Mantle, Optimism, Sonic, and ZKsync.
While the arrangement gained renewed attention following a recent announcement, the collaboration originated in August 2025 alongside Pyth Network. The integration is designed to serve automated financial systems, such as inflation-linked assets, prediction markets, and risk-management protocols for decentralized finance. Because smart contracts cannot natively retrieve off-chain government data, the oracle acts as a bridge, ensuring that on-chain applications receive the same figures released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis on its standard publication schedule.
