Kast Launches Global Stablecoin Platform for Business

Fintech firm Kast has unveiled a business platform allowing companies to manage fiat accounts, stablecoins, and virtual cards across 170 countries. The service offers up to 8% APY on idle balances and 3% cashback on expenses, aiming to reach up to 5,000 active corporate clients by the end of 2026.

Kast Launches Global Stablecoin Platform for Business

The KAST Business platform integrates multiple financial functions into a single dashboard, enabling businesses to receive fiat payments, hold digital assets, and issue virtual cards for team members. By leveraging licensed partners, the company provides local currency payouts in more than 20 markets, positioning itself as a streamlined alternative to traditional banking for distributed teams. Users can set custom spending limits on cards for software subscriptions, advertising, and vendor payments.

While the 8% APY headline is a central feature, the returns are derived from a mix of short-term U.S. Treasuries and stablecoin yield strategies. These rates are subject to market conditions and jurisdictional rules, and the company has not provided a full public breakdown of specific fees or underlying counterparties. Because Kast operates as a fintech rather than a bank, the protection of deposited funds depends on the specific terms of its licensed partners. In the United States, the offering enters a complex regulatory environment where lawmakers are actively scrutinizing how yield on stablecoin-related products is classified and taxed. The platform rollout follows an $80 million Series A funding round earlier this year, which valued the company at $600 million.
