Robinhood Chain RWA volume hits $390 million as memecoin pairs surge

Trading volume linked to real-world assets on the Robinhood Chain has climbed to a record $390 million daily, fueled by an unexpected fusion of speculative memecoins and tokenized equities. This surge marks a significant shift in network activity as liquidity pools increasingly pair high-volatility tokens with traditional stock-linked assets.

Robinhood Chain RWA volume hits $390 million as memecoin pairs surge

Onchain researcher Adam Tehc reports that memecoin-stock pairs generated $217 million in daily volume, eclipsing the $127 million attributed to standalone tokenized stocks. This combined activity has pushed the market capitalization of tokenized real-world assets on the network past the $84 million threshold, a substantial climb from the $12.8 million recorded shortly after the mainnet launch in July.

The network, built on Arbitrum technology, initially positioned tokenized stocks as its core product, offering international users exposure to roughly 95 different equities. However, trading dynamics shifted in mid-July when platforms like Bankr and long.xyz introduced liquidity pools pairing memecoins with tokenized versions of companies such as Nvidia, Tesla, and Intel. By leveraging these stocks as collateral for speculative tokens, the ecosystem created a new volume driver that now consistently outperforms traditional tokenized asset trading. While Robinhood continues to expand its onchain offerings—including perpetual futures and lending markets—the hybridization of speculative and institutional-linked assets has emerged as the primary engine for the chain's rapid growth.
