Under the new mandate, the company will facilitate support for researchers addressing a broad spectrum of medical challenges, from traumatic brain injuries and cancer to rare diseases. The effort aims to ensure that scientists receive consistent, well-managed administrative backing throughout the duration of their grants. This partnership falls under the purview of the Defense Health Agency Research & Development, Medical Research and Development Command.

Sheryl Cosing, a Knowesis Principal and OMNIBUS IV Program Manager, noted that the award reinforces the firm’s commitment to advancing militarily relevant medical research. By handling the logistical load, the company intends to allow investigators to dedicate more focus to scientific discovery. Knowesis, a service-disabled veteran-owned and woman-owned small business, currently maintains a footprint across the United States, providing consulting and management services to various federal agencies including the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs.
